The buzz about Buzzsaw: Autodesk® case study and roundtable discussion
In 2004, Broccolini Construction Inc. implemented Autodesk Buzzsaw, a collaborative project management solution, to improve communication and efficiency and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of increasingly complex construction projects.
The company was recently the subject of a case study and roundtable discussion commissioned by Autodesk®, makers of Buzzsaw collaborative project management solution. In both, Anthony Broccolini, a Project Manager based out of the Ottawa office, reflects on the significant impact that Buzzsaw has had on Broccolini’s business in the little more than two years since its inception.
Buzzsaw has enabled Broccolini Construction Inc. to enhance communication throughout the design and construction process, centralize the sharing of vital project information, and reduce printing and shipping costs.
“The benefits of Buzzsaw extend to the entire project team,” says Broccolini. “Centralizing enables consistency across the board, reduces the need for travel, and lowers the incidence of planning and construction errors. All team members get the right information at the right time.”
The case study and discussion also touch on a number of other key features and benefits of Buzzsaw, including that it:
• Easy to use
• Saves time and money
• Available on-demand, 24 hours a day
• Requires no special technical knowledge
• Accessible from anywhere with an Internet connection
Collaborative project management remains a relatively new offering but, given Broccolini’s success with Buzzsaw, it’s clear that the future of construction management lies in collaboration.
