Honouring The Broccolini Family
An Evening of Comedy
Featuring André-Philippe Gagnon
With special guest star Kevin Pollak
Wednesday, November 16, 2005

The Honouree:
Broccolini Construction Inc. began in 1949 with a single-family dwelling built in Montreal by founder Donato Broccolini.Success sparked more housing units, which became residential streets, and then entire neighbourhoods. Quality, reliability and superior client service have been the core of the business since its inception. This dedication to excellence and integrity was instilled in the four Broccolini sons, and has guided the company through its successful growth. Today the four brothers; Joseph, Peter, John and Paul, who assumed leadership of the company in the mid 1980's, continue to lead Broccolini Construction into the future. The Broccolini family is well respected for its generous support of a variety of important charitable causes in Montreal ,in the health care, educational and cultural areas.
ORT Montreal is proud to be associated with the Broccolini family and grateful for their continued and generous support.

The Entertainment:
André-Philippe Gagnon
What is behind the extraordinary success of André-Philippe Gagnon? He is, in reality, a forger. He not only reproduces the voice, the intonations, and the gestures of those he imitates, he goes much further and becomes that person. Gagnon doesn't dream of being someone else, he simply enjoys pretending. Whether it be Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles or anyone of the hundreds of people he impersonates, Gagnon makes us believe we are watching and hearing someone else. He takes his characters and places them in unusual situations that bring out new dimensions of their personality.
Kevin Pollak
Kevin Pollak has captured the attention of audiences worldwide with his incredible range of both dramatic and comedic roles. Over the past two decades, he has appeared in over fifty films and television projects and has established himself as one of the first stand-up comedians to go on to have a successful dramatic film career. It was Pollak's role in the film “A Few Good Men”, starring Tom Cruise, Demi Moore, and Jack Nicholson that proved his ability to share the big screen with dramatic heavyweights. He then went on to co-star in the box-office success “Grumpy Old Men” and its' sequel, “Grumpier Old Men”.

The Goal:
Our goal is to raise $500,000 to support the revitalization of the ORT High School in Netanya , Israel . Since 1949, the School has played a key role in helping young immigrants acquire an
education and the skills needed to ease their way into Israeli society. Many students come from disadvantaged backgrounds and suffer from economic and personal difficulties. After 55 years, and a lack of funds, the school buildings have deteriorated and many have become unsuitable as learning facilities. We are committed to changing this situation by upgrading the campus so that it can become one of the leading centers for science education in the country.

We need your support to achieve our goal!
