Broccolini Chosen to Build the Montreal Area Premium Outlet Center

The first phase of the centre will cover 424,611 square feet of leasable space and include 80 store outlets. The concept behind the stores is to offer client's brand name, high-end merchandise at a discounted price.

Hubert Meilleur, the mayor of Mirabel, has indicated that the project will permit development of a portion of the land of Lac Mirabel. He extended his city's «full cooperation» to the promoters.

John Broccolini, President and CEO of Broccolini, added «after having built the Marché Central in Montreal and the Faubourg Boisbriand, we are up for the challenge. Premium Outlet Centers are well known in the United States, it is a great honor to help them get established in Quebec.»

The commercial centre will be built near Exit 28 off Highway 15. Construction started summer 2013.
