Mercedes-Benz

Broccolini was selected as the builder for the new Mercedes-Benz Canada dealership located in Montreal East. This was the first dealership of the banner to introduce the German automobile manufacturer's new visual identity.

The construction of this new dealership began during the summer 2014 on a 3.9-acre lot. Fully operational by the end of that year, the very spacious dealership occupies 2 floors of 12,500 sq.ft. each and includes two separate showrooms, one for new vehicles and one for used vehicles. It also accommodates storage for more than 80 vehicles.

The 13,000-sq.ft. service area includes 18 state-of-the-art service bays, with two very large workshop areas designed to accommodate Mercedes-Benz Sprinters. In addition, a reception area, with a 10-vehicle capacity, meets the needs of customers in terms of after-sales service. A Mercedes-Benz lounge is generously appointed, allowing customers to wait in a comfortable and inviting environment.

The overall configuration of the facility is consistent with the concept of the Auto Haus design, based on the extensive use of glass to create transparency throughout the building. The building also introduces the new look adopted by Mercedes-Benz dealerships: black coupled with silver accents reminiscent of the three-pointed star will replace the blue tones that up until now characterized Mercedes-Benz dealerships.

A number of measures for environmental sustainability were used during the construction of this dealership. In fact, materials manufactured within the region and consisting of a high percentage of recycled content were prioritized. Particular attention was also paid to reducing the heat island effect and optimizing energy efficiency.
