Piazz’Azzurri

The complex presents architectural significance as well as good visibility because of its ideal location. This Design-Build project focused on the architectural aspect all while also offering maximum tenant flexibility. With 34,000 sq.ft. of retail space, 24,000 sq.ft. of office space, and underground parking that can accommodate approximately 40 vehicles, the complex provides the necessary amenities and prestigious image to attract high quality service providers, thereby adding to the benefits that the facility already brings to the area. The building is distinguished by the quality of its materials and also by its large marquee, which floats above the promenade. Colour-changing LED lighting is integrated into the columns which rhythmically punctuate the promenade, illuminating the roof and inviting passersby to linger and admire. The stores reinforce this impression with their backlit glass facades. With an inclination towards a warmer design, in contrast to traditional commercial architecture, the complex was predestined to be named Piazz'Azzurri, a nod to European charm and to the Italian soccer team, winner of the World Cup in 2006. The complex opened in June 2007 with many dynamic tenants already involved in the project.
