Broccolini has recently been informed of fraudulent recruitment activities targeting people outside of Canada. The suspected organization or individuals are sending employment contracts pretending to be Broccolini representatives and are requesting personal information to start an immigration procedure for employment in Canada. Please be cautious of these emails as they are considered fraudulent and a way of stealing money and identity as well as other personal information from you.

Broccolini’s recruitment process always includes in-person interviews with a member of our Human Resources team and/or a member of our management team prior to any official employment offer. Money would never be requested in exchange for a position or to secure a visa to enter Canada.

We recommend that you do not respond to unsolicited employment offers from people with whom you are unfamiliar and suggest that you report them to your local authorities. If you think you have received a fraudulent employment offer, please forward it to hrinfo@broccolini.com and ensure to include the original subject line, email address of sender and complete message including attachments.

Tenaquip

The new larger and improved Tenaquip headquarters will allow the company to continue to grow and offer more in-stock products and more effective service. After a few bumps along the way in the course of the project, the company was finally able to move into the new facility in May, 2015.

Broccolini was selected for the construction of the new Tenaquip Canadian headquarters. Tenaquip distributes state-of-the-art industrial and occupational health & safety products sourced from around the world. Tenaquip had their inventory divided between 4 different buildings located on the West Island of Montreal. Their severe lack of storage space and space to accommodate all their staff had come to a critical point.

Their new headquarters includes a 250,000 sq.ft. warehouse, 45,000 sq.ft. of office space and a 15,000 sq.ft. underground parking garage. The facility was built according to LEED Silver Certification standards. The building is home to approximately 300 employees.

A state-of-the-art auditorium, a rooftop terrace, and a grandiose showroom contribute to the improvement of the work environment. A portion of the warehouse is dedicated to the manufacturing of Kleton steel parts. The project had its share of challenges to overcome, including environmental issues, LEED Certification, and winter conditions.

The project began in May, 2014. The warehouse was delivered to the client in December, 2014 and the offices were delivered in the spring, 2015.
