Located at 455 de la Carrière Boulevard, this building is the second tower of a design-build project undertaken simultaneously by Broccolini. This 12-storey building was designed in compliance with the strictest standards for LEED® Gold Certification.
Broccolini designed, developed and built 2 offices towers for the Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) in Gatineau, Quebec. The construction of these new LEED® Gold Certified buildings, totalling more than 900,000 sq.ft. of Class A office space, would help address the government agencie's lack of space.
The 12-storey, 484,000 sq.ft. office tower, located on de la Carrière Boulevard in Gatineau, features architecture promoting a balance between efficient planning and the preservation and restoration of natural green space. It enhances the site's attractions, taking advantage of the abundance of mature trees and the superb view over Lac Leamy. The building's architecture, both timeless and cutting-edge, reflects Broccolini's commitment to environmental responsibility as well as the company's concern for the quality of its developments.
"Broccolini and PWGSC worked as a team to ensure that the design and execution of the 2 office towers, totaling 500,000 sq.ft., was a pleasant experience for all involved, and that the needs of the roughly 4,000 federal employees occupying the space would be met. The projects were both successful, in terms of quality, deadlines, cost and all the other objectives.''
