Broccolini has recently been informed of fraudulent recruitment activities targeting people outside of Canada. The suspected organization or individuals are sending employment contracts pretending to be Broccolini representatives and are requesting personal information to start an immigration procedure for employment in Canada. Please be cautious of these emails as they are considered fraudulent and a way of stealing money and identity as well as other personal information from you.

Broccolini’s recruitment process always includes in-person interviews with a member of our Human Resources team and/or a member of our management team prior to any official employment offer. Money would never be requested in exchange for a position or to secure a visa to enter Canada.

We recommend that you do not respond to unsolicited employment offers from people with whom you are unfamiliar and suggest that you report them to your local authorities. If you think you have received a fraudulent employment offer, please forward it to and ensure to include the original subject line, email address of sender and complete message including attachments.

Victoria sur le parc

Maplesoft Centre Wellspring

Address: 1500 Alta Vista Drive, Ottawa

Completion date: 2010

Building area: 10,000 sq.ft.

Contract: Management

The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation chose Broccolini to manage the construction of a residential building designed for people coping with cancer, and their families. The Foundations's very special project, named Wellspring Ottawa Maplesoft Centre, is adjacent to Cancer Survivors Park in Ottawa.

The Maplesoft Centre represents a unique complement to medical treatments for cancer because it offers patients and their families and friends the emotional, psychological and practical support they need. Designed to be very welcoming, the two- (2) storey building with basement occupies 10,000 sq.ft.. The new complex offers mutual aid workshops, discussion groups, individual monitoring, as well as other elements of the special program established by the Foundation.

The principal mandate entrusted to Broccolini was to make sure that construction was as economical as possible so that any money not used could be invested in the Maplesoft Centre's programs for the fight against cancer. Broccolini therefore decided to take a different approach in managing the project, namely by inviting all of its partners and personnel to rally for the cause, and get involved by donating materials and manpower. Construction of the Maplesoft Centre began in August 2010 and finished in February 2011.

Broccolini Construction was extremely proud to take part in this project for the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation and thereby contribute to Canadian initiatives to fight the disease.
