Robert Giglio

With nearly 30 years of experience in leasing, property management and accounting, Robert Giglio started his career at a privately held real estate company. Then, after working for several years in property management, in 1997 he turned his focus to commercial leasing, taking on the roles of Leasing Manager, Assistant Director of Leasing and then Director of Leasing, with prominent financial, real estate and property management firms. He earned his Broker’s license in 2005 and is an active member in the commercial real estate leasing and investment community, participating in numerous Real Estate and Leasing Forums both as a delegate and as a panelist. Over his career, Robert has developed a solid network within the Canadian brokerage community. Robert joined Broccolini in 2018 looking forward to working in a more entrepreneurial environment. “I also wanted to explore the development side of real estate,” he explains. “And help grow that side of the business.” Robert is responsible for overseeing commercial leasing transactions and for providing support for leasing, contracts and negotiations to Broccolini’s development divisions in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. “I have a great respect for people; for who they are, and what they do,” Robert says. This quality helps him establish strong relationships with his clients. He also has a natural ability to read people and quickly understand their objectives and motivations, allowing him to rapidly grasp a client’s true needs. “Leasing is not just about filling a space,” he explains. “It’s about connecting people with the right space for them and making sure they are happy with their choice.”
