The landmark project marks another milestone in Broccolini's continued growth in the Ottawa market
OTTAWA, ON, July 9, 2026 — Construction is now underway on Nokia's new Ottawa innovation campus, a 750,000 sq.ft. R&D facility in the Kanata North Tech Park. Appointed as the project's development and construction partner, Broccolini is delivering the full scope of the campus, which will support Nokia's next chapter in the region.
The construction kick-off marks the start of the active build phase, bringing together the project teams, trades, and partners now mobilizing on site. Set in one of Canada's largest technology parks, the campus is a large-scale build for one of the world's leading technology companies, delivered to high sustainability standards, among them LEED principles, low-carbon materials, and resilient energy systems.
"To be chosen to develop and build a campus of this importance for a global technology leader is a mark of real trust, and it is exactly the kind of complex, high-profile work Broccolini is built to deliver," said James Beach, Executive Vice-President, Real Estate Development at Broccolini. "This is one of the most significant projects in our history, and we are proud to be building it here in Ottawa."
As Broccolini continues to expand its presence in Ottawa, the company is actively hiring and growing its local team across development, construction and project delivery to support this project and a growing pipeline of work in the region.
The Nokia Ottawa Innovation Campus joins Broccolini's portfolio of landmark projects across Canada, reflecting the company's continued growth in Ottawa and fully integrated expertise in delivering complex developments.
