IKEA Distribution Centre

Broccolini partnered with IKEA Canada to deliver a 1.2 million sq. ft. distribution centre in Beauharnois, Québec—the company’s first Canadian facility of its kind in over 30 years. Designed to support both retail and e-commerce operations, the hub features advanced automation systems, including an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) and goods-to-person picking, with capacity for up to 244,000 pallets.

Strategically located to serve a broad region from Winnipeg to Halifax, the facility reinforces IKEA’s national logistics capabilities. Built to LEED Silver standards, it incorporates sustainable features such as infrastructure for electric delivery fleets—reflecting a shared commitment to innovation, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
