This building on Avenue Francis-Hughes in Laval will undergo extensive interior and exterior improvements in order to accommodate its future tenant, Amazon. The refurbished site will join Amazon’s Logistics (AMZL) network and deliver packages over the “Last Mile” to their final destination. These packages will arrive via truck from Amazon’s larger sortation and fulfillment centers before being sorted and shipped to customers.

Amazon mandated Broccolini with the development and construction of yet another fulfillment centre in Canada. This new build-to-suit construction, located in Ajax, Ontario, will be Amazon’s 10th fulfillment centre in the province. Once complete, the over 1,000,000-sq.-ft. state-of-the-art facility will employ more than 1,000 full-time workers.

  This project in Ernest-Cormier, Laval consisted in the remodel a single-storey warehouse building with supporting office area and a break room. The facility receives packages via newly replaced loading docks. Packages are sorted then stored on mobile “baker racks” and rolled to the loading area for fleet delivery.
